WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
We are looking for a client-centered physiotherapist with significant training and experience in reproductive, prenatal, postpartum, and/or pediatric care to join our multi-disciplinary team (full-time and part-time).
Physiotherapist with advanced training/education in Pelvic Floor therapy | Responsibilities
Maintain a professional, compassionate, and warm attitude when interacting with clients, ensuring a positive and welcoming experience.
Assess clients' needs and create customized treatment plans.
Communicate effectively with clients to ensure their comfort and satisfaction.
Maintain accurate, up-to-date and confidential client records, including treatment plans, progress notes, and any relevant health information.
Collaborate with other team members to provide comprehensive wellness solutions for clients.
Adhere to all applicable laws, regulations, and ethical standards in the practice of physiotherapy.
Maintain an organized work environment as well as ensure proper cleanliness and sanitation.
Support to the growth of the Centre by providing exceptional customer service and participating in some marketing and promotional activities.?
Education & Experience
Must have a BA or Masters in Physiotherapy
Must be insured, registered, and in good standing with the College of Physiotherapists of Alberta
Must have completed Pelvic Health coursework
Have experience working with prenatal and postpartum clients and issues
Experience working with pediatric clients and issues is an asset
Additional Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Demonstrated ability to provide exceptional client-centered service and care.
Strong organizational, interpersonal, and time management skills.
Ability to work well independently as well as with a multi-disciplinary team [psychologists, psychiatrist, pelvic health therapist(s), massage therapist(s), osteopath(s), nurse practitioner(s), acupuncturist(s), lactation consultant(s), dietitian(s), doulas, and others] to provide comprehensive and well-rounded care to clients.
Superior communication skills (oral and written).
High level of professionalism, including punctuality, ethical conduct, and confidentiality.
High Integrity, adheres to ethical standards, and maintains honesty and professionalism.
Demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional development.
Proficiency in MS Office and full computer literacy.
