Located in a large sports facility, we specialize in treating sports injuries and musculoskeletal conditions through personalized, compassionate care that addresses both physical recovery and emotional well-being. Duties



Assess and evaluate patients' physical conditions, including movement, strength, and range of motion. Develop personalized treatment plans based on patients' needs and goals. Implement treatment plans using various techniques such as exercise, manual therapy, and electrotherapy. Monitor and document patients' progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary. Educate patients and their families on exercises and techniques for at-home care. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care. Stay up-to-date with advancements in physiotherapy practices and techniques.

Requirements



Education:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physiotherapy.

Certification:

Registered Physiotherapist or Resident Physiotherapist working under a Supervisor.

Specialization:

Interest in and commitment to developing expertise in sports physiotherapy and orthopedic rehabilitation.

Experience:

Previous experience in sports physiotherapy, integrated acupuncture/manual therapy/ exercise prescription is an asset but not required. Extensive training and mentorship will be provided.

Skills



Strong patient care skills, demonstrating empathy, compassion, and effective communication. Proficient in medical terminology and documentation practices. Knowledge of various physiotherapy techniques and modalities. Ability to assess patients' physical conditions and develop appropriate treatment plans. Excellent interpersonal skills to collaborate with other healthcare professionals and work effectively as part of a team.

Pay: $37.50-$60.00 per hour
