We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physiotherapist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assessing, planning, and implementing personalized treatment plans to help patients improve mobility, manage pain, and recover from injuries or surgeries. Our Physiotherapist role at Primaris will involve proactive and preventative plan development as many clients will not have active injuries, but will be seeking health advice for the maintenance and improvement of their current physical health. This role requires a strong commitment to patient care and the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare environment. The Physiotherapist will play a vital role in enhancing patient outcomes through expert therapeutic interventions and education.
Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to determine individual needs and develop tailored treatment plans.
Implement therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and other modalities to promote recovery and improve function.
Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment strategies accordingly to ensure optimal outcomes.
Educate patients and their families on injury prevention, rehabilitation exercises, and health maintenance strategies.
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care plans.
Maintain accurate documentation of patient treatments, progress notes, and clinical records in compliance with healthcare regulations.
Stay current with advancements in physiotherapy techniques and participate in ongoing professional development.
Ensure adherence to safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized treatment environment.
Qualifications
Master's degree in Physiotherapy from an accredited institution.
Valid licensure or registration with the College of Physiotherapists of Alberta (CPTA).
Strong knowledge of medical terminology and clinical assessment skills.
A background in fitness is preferred
Excellent patient care skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse patient populations.
Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
