Job Summary


We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Physiotherapist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will have experience in a hospital setting, particularly in acute care and pediatrics. This role involves providing exceptional patient care by assessing, diagnosing, and treating patients with physical impairments or disabilities. The Physiotherapist will work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to develop personalized treatment plans that enhance patient recovery and improve their quality of life.

Responsibilities



Conduct thorough assessments of patients to determine their physical condition and needs. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient evaluations and goals. Utilize various therapeutic techniques and modalities to facilitate recovery, including exercises, manual therapy, and education. Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes. Educate patients and their families on injury prevention, rehabilitation techniques, and home exercise programs. Maintain accurate documentation of patient care activities in accordance with medical standards and regulations. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive patient care. Stay updated on the latest advancements in physiotherapy practices and medical terminology.

Requirements



Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physiotherapy from an accredited institution. Valid physiotherapy license to practice in the relevant jurisdiction. Previous hospital experience is preferred, particularly in acute care settings. Experience working with pediatric patients is a plus. Strong understanding of medical terminology related to physiotherapy practices. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective patient interaction and collaboration with healthcare teams. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Compassionate approach towards patient care with a strong commitment to improving health outcomes.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Fixed term contract

Pay: $31.61-$111.22 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 15 per week
