We are a well-established therapeutic massage and wellness clinic in Calgary with a strong reputation in the community. To better serve our patients, we are expanding our services to include Physiotherapy and are seeking a motivated and skilled Registered Physiotherapist to join our healthcare team.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in patient care and a comprehensive understanding of physiotherapy practices. This role involves working with patients across various settings, including inpatient, outpatient, and home health environments. The Physiotherapist will be responsible for assessing patient needs, developing care plans, and implementing effective treatment strategies to enhance recovery and improve overall well-being.

Duties
Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical conditions and needs.
Develop individualized care plans based on assessment findings and patient goals.
Implement physiotherapy treatments, including trigger point therapy, orthopedic rehabilitation, and geriatric care.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Provide education to patients and families regarding treatment options and home exercises.
Document patient progress using EMR systems and maintain accurate medical records.
Engage in discharge planning to facilitate smooth transitions from acute care to home or community settings.
Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to optimize outcomes.
Maintain knowledge of anatomy, physiology, medical terminology, and current best practices in physiotherapy.
Requirements
Degree in Physiotherapy from an accredited institution in Alberta.
Valid license to practice as a Physiotherapist in the relevant jurisdiction.
Experience in acute care, inpatient settings, outpatient clinics, or home health preferred.
Knowledge of discharge planning processes and care plan development.
Familiarity with EMR systems for documentation purposes.
Strong understanding of physiology and anatomy related to rehabilitation practices.
Experience working with diverse populations including pediatrics and geriatrics is a plus.
Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $1,800.00-$2,400.00 per week
