Nostos Chiropractic is a multi modal health clinic, and we want to expand our offerings by adding a physiotherapist to our team!
Who are we? Nostos is an energetic, eager-to-serve-our-community team. We're dedicated to providing stellar service to our patients. (And we were awarded the 2024 Chiropractic Clinic Canadian Choice Award)
At the moment, our team is made up of chiropractors and RMT's. Once a month we do an All-Prac Meeting to troubleshoot cases, talk about technique and success stories, and review new clinic systems.
Duties:
- Assess and diagnose patients' physical conditions and develop individualized treatment plans
- Implement treatment plans using various techniques such as manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and electrotherapy, and any other services within your scope
- Monitor patients' progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary
- Educate patients on proper techniques for home-care, rehabilitation and injury prevention
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care to patients
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
- Assisting in managing and billing MVA cases
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and biomechanics
- Proficient in assessing and diagnosing musculoskeletal conditions
- Ability to develop and implement effective treatment plans
- Excellent manual dexterity and physical stamina
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients and other healthcare professionals
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Asset skill sets: dry needling, pelvic floor physiotherapy, work with kids/babies
Hours:
- We can offer a flexible schedule, and hours can be negotiated with the successful candidate.
