Job Overview

We are looking for a Part-time Physiotherapist (a flexible 2 days per week) to support our Family Health Team roster.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for assessing, planning, and implementing personalized treatment plans to help patients recover mobility, reduce pain, and improve overall quality of life for the patients of our primary care family health team. This role offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic clinical environment, providing essential patient care for our rostered patients.

Duties

Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients' physical conditions and develop tailored treatment plans Administer therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and other modalities to promote healing and mobility Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment strategies accordingly Educate patients and their families on injury prevention, rehabilitation techniques, and health maintenance Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure cohesive patient care Maintain accurate documentation of patient assessments, treatment sessions, and progress notes in compliance with healthcare regulations Assist in developing departmental protocols

Skills

Proven experience working in clinic setting Excellent patient care skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse patient populations Knowledge of Telus PS EMR Compassionate approach with a focus on patient-centered care Strong teamwork skills and the ability to collaborate within multidisciplinary healthcare teams

Pay: $32,935.00 per year

Expected hours: 14 per week
