We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Physiotherapist to join our dynamic healthcare team. Responsibilities



Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' physical conditions using physiotherapy techniques and medical terminology to identify mobility issues, pain points, and functional limitations. Develop detailed care plans tailored to individual needs, incorporating evidence-based practices such as trigger point therapy, orthopedics, geriatrics, pediatrics, and sports rehabilitation. Implement therapeutic interventions including manual therapy, exercise programs, electrotherapy, and other modalities to facilitate recovery and improve patient outcomes. Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate discharge planning and ensure seamless transitions from hospital to home or community care settings. Educate patients and their families on injury prevention, proper body mechanics, physiotherapy exercises, and self-care strategies to promote long-term health benefits. Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress using electronic medical record (EMR) systems while adhering to healthcare regulations and standards. Monitor patient responses during treatment sessions and adjust care plans accordingly for optimal results. Provide specialized care for diverse populations including pediatric, geriatric, orthopedic, neurological, and post-surgical patients in outpatient clinics or home & community care environments. Assist in training staff on physiotherapy techniques and ensure compliance with safety protocols within inpatient or outpatient settings.

Requirements



Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physiotherapy from an accredited institution; current licensure or registration as a licensed Physiotherapist. Proven experience in inpatient hospital settings, outpatient clinics, home health services, or community care programs with a focus on patient care excellence. Strong knowledge of physiology and anatomy principles underpinning effective physiotherapy practices. Familiarity with EMR systems for documentation and patient management. Experience in discharge planning processes and developing comprehensive care plans for diverse patient needs. Proficiency in specialized areas such as orthopedics, geriatrics, pediatrics, trigger point therapy, acute care environments, and home & community care. Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex medical terminology clearly to patients and team members. Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams across inpatient or outpatient settings. Pay: $45.00-$50.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 - 25 per week
