Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Physiotherapist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in patient care and rehabilitation, with the ability to develop and implement effective treatment plans for a diverse patient population. Duties

Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients to determine their physical condition and needs. Develop individualized care plans based on assessment findings, incorporating evidence-based practices. Implement physiotherapy treatments including manual therapy, exercise prescription, and modalities. Provide discharge planning and ensure continuity of care for patients transitioning from inpatient to outpatient settings. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to enhance patient outcomes in acute care, outpatient clinics, and home health environments. Educate patients and their families on treatment plans, exercises, and self-management strategies. Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress using EMR systems. Stay updated on advancements in physiotherapy practices, medical terminology, anatomy knowledge, and physiology.

Skills

Proficient in discharge planning and developing effective care plans tailored to individual patient needs. Experience in acute care settings as well as outpatient clinics, geriatrics, pediatrics, orthopedics, and home & community care. Strong understanding of trigger point therapy techniques and their application in treatment protocols. Ability to work effectively with diverse populations including inpatient hospital settings and home health scenarios. Excellent communication skills for interacting with patients, families, and healthcare professionals. Familiarity with EMR systems for efficient documentation and patient management.
