Salary Range: $50,000 - $60,000 CAD per annum

Position Overview:




We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive finance professional to support the end-to-end physician payment cycle for our clinic operations. This role plays a key part in ensuring timely, accurate, and contract-compliant payments to healthcare providers, while maintaining strong internal controls and contributing to ongoing process improvements.

What you will be doing:



Obtain physician's billing and remittance records from EMR and the clinic Reconcile billing claims from EMRs against cash receipts to support accurate payment processing Calculate payments to physicians in accordance with contractual agreements and payment models Set up and modify EFT templates and manage banking information Prepare and post journal entries related to physician payments Prepare and distribute physician statements each pay period Assist with monthly reconciliations and reporting of physician compensation Review and assess current payment processes and internal controls; recommend improvements Provide responsive support to clinic operations and physicians on payment-related inquiries Ensure financial activities align with organizational goals and reporting standards Perform other finance duties and ad hoc tasks as assigned

You have:



Degree or diploma in Accounting, Business, Commerce, or a related field Minimum 2 years of experience in Accounts Payable, Payroll, or a finance support role Experience with physician or contractor payments is an asset Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills High sense of urgency, accountability, and time management Effective communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with stakeholders Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team Prior experience in healthcare is a strong asset Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required Experience working with EMRs is an asset Experience with banking platforms and ERP systems an asset


The salary offered for this position falls within a specified salary range and will be determined based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to the candidate's experience, qualifications, skills, and the specific needs of the organization.
