Executive Director, Endeavor Family Practice Network (FPN)

Hours: Contract or FTE up to 37.5 hours/week

Wage Approx 41-55$ an Hour

About Endeavor FPN



Endeavor Family Practice Network is a physician-led non-profit organization representing over 230 community family physicians in the St. John's and Eastern Urban region. We work in partnership with Newfoundland and Labrador Health Services (NLHS) and the Family Practice Renewal Program (FPRP) to improve the experience and outcomes of both patients and providers through strategic, community-connected, and physician-driven initiatives.

Position Summary

Program Manager

will work

directly with community family physicians

to support priority initiatives that enhance primary care across the St. John's urban region. This role will balance

hands-on event coordination, project management, and stakeholder engagement

, while being deeply embedded in the work of local physician-led working groups.

Key Responsibilities1. Support Strategic Physician-Led Projects



Coordinate and support

strategic initiatives

aligned with Endeavor FPN, Collaborative Services Committee (CSC), and working group priorities. Work with family physicians to implement and monitor

project work plans

in areas such as: Locum coordination Personal Care Home access Recruitment & Retention Business of Medicine Ensure follow-through on defined deliverables, working closely with working group leads and healthcare partners.

2. Continuing Professional Development (CPD) & Member Events



Lead coordination of both in-person and virtual

CPD events

, including: Registration, scheduling, and venue or platform logistics Working with physician presenters on content needs Preparing

Mainpro+ applications

and tracking attendance/certification Support interactive member engagement sessions and planning meetings, ensuring smooth facilitation and clear follow-up.

3. Physician Engagement & Relationship Building



Foster strong, trusted relationships with community family physicians and clinic teams. Provide responsive support for emerging physician needs and initiatives. Ensure knowledge sharing across members, projects, and committees. Serve as a key contact for CSC participation and related communications.

4. Evaluation and Continuous Improvement



Collaborate with FPRP evaluation leads and internal stakeholders to implement tracking and evaluation plans for key initiatives. Support data collection, analysis, and synthesis to inform future program direction.

5. General Program & Operational Support



Assist with grant follow-up, communications, file management, and board support as needed. Provide coverage and continuity during periods of staff leave.

Qualifications & Skills



Required:



Bachelors Degree in an area that has alignment with expectations of the position Demonstrated experience in

coordinating programs or projects

in healthcare, education, or non-profit sectors. Exceptional

organization and communication skills

, both verbal and written. High proficiency in

Microsoft Office Suite

, including Excel and PowerPoint. Comfort using

virtual platforms

(e.g., Zoom, MS Teams) and digital tools for collaborative work. Ability to work independently and as part of a physician-led team.

Preferred:



Experience working with

family physicians or interdisciplinary healthcare teams and or Health Adjacent Areas

. Knowledge of Newfoundland and Labrador's primary care system and current challenges. Demonstrated fluency and curiosity with emerging tech tools, including

AI/LLMs

(e.g., ChatGPT) to enhance workflow, content creation, and efficiency.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $75,743.22-$103,162.98 per year
