The Gray Clinic

is seeking a dedicated and motivated Physician Assistant based in Winnipeg, MB, to join our growing healthcare team. The successful candidate will work closely with the doctor, to provide high-quality, patient-centered care in a dynamic clinic environment.

The Physician Assistant will be responsible for performing physical examinations, diagnosing and treating illnesses, interpreting diagnostic tests, managing patient treatment plans, and providing patient education and counseling. This role also offers the flexibility to work remotely at times -including handling patient phone calls, assessing IV Iron referrals, and booking IV Iron appointments, to support efficient patient care and clinic operations.

Qualifications:



Strong clinical skills in performing physical examinations, diagnosing illnesses, and interpreting diagnostic tests. Experience managing patient treatment plans and providing patient education and counseling. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating with healthcare teams and coordinating patient care. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, evolving clinic setting. Proficiency with healthcare technology and Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems. Master's degree in Physician Assistant Studies or a related field. Current licensure as a Physician Assistant in Manitoba. Experience in Primary Care, Family Medicine, or Internal Medicine is considered an asset. Interest or experience in IV Iron Therapy is a strong advantage.

Skills



Proficiency in electronic medical records systems (Epic, Cerner) is essential. Strong understanding of medical terminology and patient care protocols. Experience in acute care settings, pediatrics, or pain management is highly desirable. Ability to collect data accurately for research purposes. Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare teams. Previous experience in a medical office or hospital environment is preferred. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in documentation and patient interactions. Pay: $30.00-$52.00 per hour
