Modern Medical Hyperbaric Medicine Clinic is redefining healthcare delivery through cutting-edge hyperbaric oxygen therapy, advanced wound care, and integrative medicine and we're looking for a passionate Physician Assistant (PA) to join our growing team in Thunder Bay.

This is a rare opportunity to work in a state-of-the-art hyperbaric medicine facility, supporting patients with complex wounds, diabetic ulcers, radiation injuries, and other conditions that benefit from advanced hyperbaric oxygen therapy. You'll work alongside physicians, nurses, hyperbaric technicians and wound-care specialists to deliver truly life-changing care.

Your Role:

Conduct comprehensive hyperbaric medicine consultations and follow-up assessments Provide daily patient rounds, address treatment concerns, and ensure continuity of care Complete discharge summaries, documentation, and interdisciplinary communications Collaborate closely with the hyperbaric team to develop individualized treatment plans
What You Bring:

Certification and licensure as a Physician Assistant (Canada) Background in family medicine, wound care, and/or emergency medicine Strong clinical judgment, compassionate communication, and a drive for innovation Training in hyperbaric medicine is an asset: Online training and on-the-job training will be provided
Requirements:

To be considered for this position, applicants must meet the following criteria:

Successful completion of an accredited Physician Assistant education program (Canadian or U.S. accredited) Current certification as a Canadian Certified Physician Assistant (CCPA) and/orPhysician Assistant-Certified (PA-C) through the U.S. National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) Active registration or membership with the Canadian Association of Physician Assistants (CAPA) in good standing Eligible to practice under physician delegation in Ontario in accordance with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario (CPSO) Delegation of Controlled Acts Policy Legally entitled to work in Canada Prior clinical experience in family practice, emergency medicine, or wound care considered an asset
