Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Physician Assistant to join our outpatient respirology practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care, assisting physicians in clinical settings, and ensuring that patients receive comprehensive medical attention. This position requires strong clinical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a commitment to patient-centered care.

Applicants must be a graduate of an accredited Canadian physician assistant program. PREFERENCE WILL BE GIVEN TO NEW GRADUATES.

Duties

Conduct thorough patient assessments and physical examinations. Assist in diagnosing and treating various medical conditions. Perform spirometry in office. Document patient information accurately in Accuro (EMR).

Requirements

Valid Physician Assistant license and certification from an accredited Canadian program. Eager learner. Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients and healthcare teams. Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Commitment to continuous professional development and adherence to ethical standards.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $35.50-$55.39 per hour

Expected hours: 25 - 40 per week
