Physician Assistant
Job Description
We are seeking an energetic and motivated Physician Assistant to support our Surgical Department team. You will work alongside physicians to assess, diagnose, and treat patients, contributing to efficient, high-quality care.
At ESHC, we handle approximately 1,800 surgeries and 2,700 endoscopy procedures annually. Our expert team includes nurses, surgical assistants, anesthetists, surgeons, OBGYNs, endoscopists, and visiting specialists.
Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited Canadian Physician Assistant program (McMaster University or University of Toronto/NOSM Consortium preferred)
Registered or eligible for registration with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario (CPSO)
Minimum two years of undergraduate university education prior to PA program
Current BCLS certification
Strong clinical, communication, and documentation skills
Experience in Perioperative Surgery is an asset
