About the Opportunity

As a member of the Emergency Department (ED) team, the Physician Assistant (PA) will report to the Primary Supervising Emergency Physician and provide assessment and care to patients presenting to the Emergency Department (ED). This position will offer the PA an opportunity to work to full scope of practice as outlined in the agreement between the Primary Supervising Emergency Physician and the PA.

About You

• Canadian Certified Physician Assistant (CCPA), granted by the Physician Assistants Certification Council of the Canadian Association of Physician Assistants
• Three to five years of professional experience in a similar related academic health care environment
• Experience in an Emergency Department setting is preferred
• The following certifications or willingness to obtain,
• Certification in CTAS
• Certification with Heart & Stroke in ACLS
• PALS or equivalent
• TNCC or equivalent
• Competencies in other languages an asset, French preferred

Salary Information

$40.27 - $53.51 Hourly
