Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapy Aide to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist physical therapists in providing high-quality care to patients recovering from injuries or surgeries. This role is essential in ensuring a smooth and efficient operation within our therapy clinic, contributing to the overall patient experience and rehabilitation process.

Duties

Assist physical therapists with patient treatment sessions, ensuring safety and comfort. Assist physical therapists with patient equipment/therapeutic modality set ups and take downs. Prepare treatment areas by cleaning and organizing equipment and supplies. Help patients with exercises and mobility tasks as directed by the therapist. Assist with flow of patient care within the clinic and among the physical therapy team. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members regarding treatment plans and progress. Uphold medical terminology standards to ensure clear communication within the healthcare environment.

Experience

Previous experience in a healthcare setting is preferred but not required; training will be provided. Familiarity with medical terminology is a plus, enhancing communication with the healthcare team. A strong desire to help others and a commitment to providing exceptional patient care are essential qualities for success in this role. Pay: $15.00-$17.00 per hour
