Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Assist physiotherapists with patient treatments and therapy sessions. Set up treatment rooms and ensure equipment is clean, safe, and ready for use. Help patients with mobility, transfers, and positioning during therapy sessions. Monitor patient progress and report any changes, concerns, or adverse reactions to the supervising physiotherapist. Educate patients on exercises, proper body mechanics, and home programs as instructed by the physiotherapist. Maintain accurate documentation of patient care, sessions, and observations. Ensure compliance with clinic policies, safety procedures, and infection control standards. Provide administrative support as needed, including scheduling, answering phone calls, and coordinating patient care.

Qualifications & Skills:

Diploma or certificate in physiotherapy assistance or related healthcare field. Previous experience in a physiotherapy or rehabilitation setting is preferred. Knowledge of human anatomy, Physiotherapy techniques, and rehabilitation principles. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work as part of a team and follow directions from physiotherapists. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Compassionate, patient-focused, and professional demeanor.

Pay: $17.20 per hour

Expected hours: 10 per week
