We're looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Physical Security Operations Centre (PSOC) Analyst to join our team at Profile Investigation. This is a contract position working directly on-site for one of Canada's leading financial institutions. This is a

hybrid role

, requiring at least

one day per week on-site in downtown Vancouver

. You'll be a key part of our client's global security team, responsible for monitoring, analyzing, and responding to a wide range of physical security events across their global operations. This position requires a strong sense of urgency, excellent communication skills, and the ability to make sound judgments under pressure.

Key Responsibilities



Incident Management:

You will effectively manage and document all security incidents from initial detection to resolution. This includes creating detailed incident reports, coordinating with internal teams and external agencies (e.g., law enforcement), and ensuring all actions are logged accurately.

Threat Analysis:

You'll conduct regular analysis of security data to identify trends, potential vulnerabilities, and emerging threats. This information will be used to inform the client's security strategy and improve their overall physical security posture.

Emergency Communications:

You'll serve as a central communications hub during emergencies, disseminating critical information to stakeholders and coordinating a rapid and effective response.

Reporting:

You will generate daily, weekly, and monthly reports on security incidents, system performance, and operational metrics.

Qualifications



Experience:

Previous experience in a security operations center, emergency dispatch, or a similar environment is highly preferred.

Technical Skills:

Extensive familiarity with E-mail and social media messaging tools is essential. Advanced experience with Microsoft Excel and business reporting tools is beneficial.

. The ability to clearly and concisely communicate critical information in English under pressure is paramount.

Availability:

Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including

nights, weekends, and holidays

, as this is a 24/7 operation.

Education:

A diploma or degree in a related field (e.g., Security Management, Criminology) is an asset.

Certifications:

Relevant security certifications (e.g., CPP, PSP) are a plus.
