Job Title: Calling Team Leader (Phonathon)
Classification: C
Base Salary: $17 per hour. 4% vacation pay and compensation for Legal Holidays will be included on each pay
Duration: September 8, 2025 to December 19, 2025.
Schedule: Monday-Thursday: 5:30pm - 9:30pm, Sunday 12:00pm - 4:00pm
Estimated weekly hours: 8
Primary Duties:Organizes and monitors a team of student fundraisers.
Compiles and tracks student callers' incentives, statistics from shift and other data points in excel reports.
Reviews, corrects and confirms all donor data inputted into internal database by student callers.
Assists with training Student Callers, reviews and corrects student's performance and provides constructive feedback to improve performance.
Acts as a resource person to resolve issues that may arise during Caller shifts and communicates issues to the Phonathon Manager.
In addition to the above tasks, may be asked to perform tasks of the Phonathon Callers.

Requirements:High School Diploma with one (1) year relevant experience in the field of work.
Other Qualifying Skills:Must be a student currently enrolled at McGill.
Must have excellent verbal communication skills (English and/or French).
Experience in sales or call center environment.
Experience as a Calling Team Leader at the McGill Phonathon or experience with monitoring/supervising students.
Knowledge of French and English: McGill University is an English-language university where day to day duties may require English communication both verbally and in writing. The level of English required for this position has been assessed at a level # 3 on a scale of 0-4.*

Sommaire du poste :
Relevant du superviseur immediat, le titulaire du poste effectue certaines (ou la totalite) des taches administratives de nature generale enumerees. Ces taches sont d'une grande complexite et le titulaire les execute en suivant des instructions generales.
Fonctions types:Organiser et surveiller les activites de financement d'une equipe d'etudiants telephonistes appelants;
Compiler et suivre les mesures incitatives prises par les telephonistes appelants, les statistiques tirees des quarts de travail et d'autres elements de donnees dans des rapports Excel;
Examiner et corriger s'il le faut les donnees saisies par les telephonistes appelants sur les donateurs dans la base de donnees interne; Aider a former les telephonistes appelants et leur donner de la retroaction sur la qualite des appels;
Agir a titre de personne-ressource pour resoudre les problemes qui peuvent survenir pendant les quarts de travail des telephonistes appelants et communiquer ces problemes au gestionnaire (Phonathon).
En plus des taches susmentionnees, il peut etre demande d'effectuer des taches de telephoniste appelant (Phonathon).

Formation et experience minimales requises :Diplome d'etudes secondaires. 1 an experience connexe
Autres competences et/ou aptitudes:Doit etre inscrit en tant qu'etudiant a l'Universite McGill
Excellentes competences en communication (anglais et/ou francais)
Experience en vente ou dans un centre d'appel.
Experience en tant que Chef d'equipe, Telephonistes appelants au central d'appel Phonathon a McGill ou experience avec la surveillance/supervision d'etudiants, un atout.
Connaissance du francais et de l'anglais: L'Universite McGill est une universite de langue anglaise ou les taches quotidiennes peuvent necessiter une communication verbale et ecrite en anglais. Le niveau d'anglais requis pour ce poste a ete determine comme etant de niveau # 3 sur une echelle de 0-4.*
