Job Description

Pharmacy Assistant/ Technician Needed:



Skills sought after:



- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills

- Fluency in Prescription Entry, Adjudication and Filling.

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.

- Strong time management skills and ability to multi-task.

- Knowledge of Computer System is an asset.

- Able to work individually and as part of a team.

Administration:



- Process manual billing

- Fill out appropriate third parties audit paperwork and fax.

- Process weekly dossette batch.

- Answer telephone, ensuring that telephone etiquette is observed at all times.

- Generate various reports as required.

- Prepare and match invoices where required.

- Manage administrative tasks ask required.

Inventory Management:



- Perform inventory management, under the direction of the Pharmacist.

- Managing out of stocks/back orders.

- Perform cycle counts.

- Regular replenishment of pharmacy drugs and supplies.

- Removal and return of expired products and recalls.

Professional duties:



- Provide support and assistance to the pharmacist(s) as required.

- Maintain professional image (dress code) and conduct at all times.

- Ensure all loss prevention systems and procedures are performed according to established standards.

Full time / Part time positions available.



Knowledge of computer system Fillware is an advantage.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $19.00-$30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Work Location: In person
