Prairie Sky Co-op is hiring a Certified Pharmacy Technician at our Food Store in Weyburn, Saskatchewan. Pharmacy hours are Monday to Saturday, closed on Sundays and all statutory holidays. • Dispense and verify prescription medications previously checked for therapeutic appropriateness by the pharmacist to the extent permitted by provincial regulations and federal regulations.
• Package and label products to maintain integrity and meet legislative requirements.
• Determine and maintain inventory requirements sufficient for patient safety and efficient operations,
• Maintenance and upkeep of patient records.
• Assist patients in making informed decisions regarding the selection and use of medical devices and health aids.

• You graduated from an accredited Pharmacy Technician program from a recognized institution. Preference given to candidates who have completed Advance Method Technical Certification requirements and are able to inject approved vaccines.
• Current licensure and good standing with the Saskatchewan College of Pharmacy Professionals is required.
