reporting to Pharmacy Manager, you will be responsible for supporting the pharmacy operations in all technical (non-clinical) aspects related to dispensing, and other administrative tasks. You will support the Pharmacy Manager to meet deliverables relating to store performance, operational excellence, patient care and experience, supporting specialty pharmacy programs such as Home Monitoring, greeting patients and confirming accuracy of prescriptions, dispensing medications, completing customer pickups, data entry, pharmacy inventory support, other technical/ administrative tasks and
Skills and Expectations:
Receive prescriptions and referrals, gather all necessary information, ensure completeness of information
Maintain patient & drug information files
Data entry into dispensing and other proprietary software
Complete final check of pharmaceutical products prepared by another regulated pharmacy technician or by unregulated pharmacy personnel per regulatory requirements
Confirm accuracy and completeness of pharmaceutical products prepared for release
Retrieve, count, pour, weigh, measure, mix & reconstitute medications
Specialized compounding and reconstitution per regulatory requirements
Perform injections as per regulatory guidelines
Document and file to meet regulatory requirements
Maintain pharmacy inventory
High level of professionalism
Knowledge of professional discipline, technical specialties, related process
Ability to implement practical procedures of systems which are moderately complex

Key Requirements
Registered pharmacy technician certification and maintained registration with appropriate pharmacy association
1 year of experience working as a regulated pharmacy technician or similar role OR an equivalent combination of work experience and education
Injection certification
Experience with Kroll an asset
Ability to stand for length of shift
Ability to lift up to 15 kg (35 lbs)
