Position: Pharmacy Technician-Overnight Dept/Health System: Pharmacy Services


Role Level: (AH05.11)-$31.37 to $36.16


Status: Temporary Full Time x12 months


Shifts: 10.85 hours/shift overnight - 7 days worked followed by 7 days off


Site: Credit Valley Hospital & Mississauga Hospital

Duties as a Pharmacy Technician, in an computerized automated Unit Dose setting along with repackaging, intravenous admixing In collaboration with other Pharmacy Technicians, you will deliver appropriate teaching to pharmacy students THP is committed to internal talent, and therefore priority will be given to internal applicants.





Knowledge & Experience Required.........





Registration as a Pharmacy Technician with the Ontario College of Pharmacists (OCP) Preceptor training with OCP is an asset Membership with the Canadian Associate of Pharmacy Technicians (C.A.P.T) is an asset Experience in a hospital pharmacy, preferred Experience with Swisslog automation is an asset Sound working knowledge of computer applications i.e. EPIC and Microsoft Office Ability to handle a variety of complex tasks and issues promptly and efficiently while maintaining accuracy and meeting conflicting deadlines Excellent attention to detail and high level of accuracy Strong interpersonal, problem solving, organizational, and communication skills Experience in providing exceptional patient centred care Ability to function efficiently in a fast paced environment Ability to work independently as well as part of a dynamic team of professionals S/atisfactory performance and attendance required Your primary sites initially will be Credit Valley Hospital & Mississauga Hospital.
