Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Pharmacy Technician to join our team. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a crucial role in assisting pharmacists in providing medication and healthcare services to patients. Your attention to detail, knowledge of medical terminology, and ability to provide excellent patient care will contribute to the overall success of our pharmacy.

The knowledge of non sterile compounding is crucial. Knowledge of kroll is an asset.

Duties:

- Assist pharmacists in dispensing medications accurately and efficiently

- Prepare prescription orders by counting tablets, labeling bottles, and verifying patient information

- Maintain proper storage and security conditions for drugs

- Manage inventory levels and order supplies as needed

- Process insurance claims and handle billing inquiries

- Provide exceptional customer service to patients, answering questions and addressing concerns

- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care

- Adhere to all pharmacy laws, regulations, and guidelines

Experience:

- Previous experience as a Pharmacy Technician in a hospital or retail setting is preferred

- Proficiency in medical terminology and medication administration

- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in performing tasks

- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

- Ability to multitask and prioritize workload effectively

- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work well under pressure
