Overview


We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Technician to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will support pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications, providing excellent patient care, and ensuring accurate medication management.

Prior experience in retail pharmacy is highly valued.

Responsibilities



Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing prescription medications accurately and efficiently Verify patient information, prescriptions, and medication orders for correctness Maintain proper inventory levels of pharmaceuticals and supplies Provide exceptional patient care by answering questions and offering medication guidance under supervision Ensure compliance with all safety protocols, including proper storage and disposal of medications Document medication transactions accurately in Kroll Support administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, and record keeping

Requirements



Previous retail, pharmacy, or fulfillment experience preferred Knowledge of Kroll is an asset Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy in dispensing medications Excellent communication skills for patient interaction and team collaboration Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced healthcare environment Certification as a pharmacy technician is mandatory
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $25.00-$30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25 - 30 per week

Experience:

Pharmacy technician: 2 years (preferred)
Licence/Certification:

Pharmacy Technician Licence (required)
Work Location: In person
