Job Summary

We are expanding at an incredible rate and are looking for exceptional Pharmacy Technician Interns to join our growing team. We are a leading compounding pharmacy group with locations across Canada, and we have recently expanded into a new world-class facility in Port Coquitlam.

This position is for a

Compounding Pharmacy Technician Intern (Trainee)

who will work with our compounding team to produce high-quality compounded products. We primarily service pharmacies, medical and veterinary clinics, and also prepare custom-compounded prescriptions for the general public. This is strictly a lab-based role, as our Call Centre provides all required telephone and in-person customer service.

Our facility is fully compliant with NAPRA guidelines and offers sterile, non-sterile, and hazardous compounding. Comprehensive training will be provided to the successful candidate. We aim to support a healthy work-life balance for our employees and are flexible with working hours and holidays.

Duties

Data capturing and entry Compounding all types of non-sterile preparations, including but not limited to creams, ointments, suspensions, solutions, capsules, suppositories, etc. Sterile compounding (training will be provided) Ensuring all batched items are adequately stocked Building formulas in PK and Kroll Checking the final product (after obtaining registration as a Pharmacy Technician)

Qualifications

Completion of a Pharmacy Technician Program in Canada Previous experience or coursework related to patient care or pharmacy technician duties is an asset but not required Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with patients and healthcare staff Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment while also demonstrating initiative Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills
