Summary

We are seeking a Pharmacy Technician to join our team at Pharmasave High Prairie. In this role, you will play a crucial part in supporting our pharmacists and ensuring that patients receive their medications accurately and efficiently. Your contributions will be vital in promoting health and wellness within our community.

Responsibilities

Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications to patients. Provide excellent customer service by answering questions and addressing concerns regarding medications. Maintain accurate patient records and ensure confidentiality of patient information. Manage inventory levels of medications and supplies, ensuring timely reordering as needed. Educate patients on proper medication usage and potential side effects. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize patient care.

Requirements

Certification as a Pharmacy Technician or equivalent experience required. Registration required with ACP. Strong knowledge of medical terminology and medication administration practices. Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with patients and healthcare team members. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Previous experience in a pharmacy or healthcare setting is an asset.

Pay: $28.58-$30.07 per hour
