We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting patient care by assisting pharmacists in the preparation and dispensing of medications. This position requires a strong understanding of medical terminology and medication administration, particularly in a hospital setting.
Duties
Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications accurately and efficiently.
Provide exceptional patient care by answering questions and addressing concerns regarding medications.
Maintain accurate records of medication inventory, ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
Process prescriptions, including verifying patient information and medication details.
Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Educate patients on proper medication usage, potential side effects, and storage requirements.
Uphold cleanliness and organization within the pharmacy environment to promote safety and efficiency.
Experience
Previous experience as a Pharmacy Technician is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided for the right candidate.
Familiarity with medical terminology and medication administration is highly desirable.
Experience working in a hospital or clinical setting is an advantage.
Strong communication skills and a commitment to providing excellent patient care are essential for success in this role.
