Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Technician to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications, providing excellent patient care, and ensuring accurate medication management. This role offers an opportunity to work in a fast-paced medical environment, supporting patient health and safety through precise medication handling and effective communication. Prior pharmacy technician experience is preferred, along with strong knowledge of medical terminology and medication administration procedures.

Duties

Assist pharmacists in preparing, dispensing, and labeling prescriptions accurately Manage medication inventory, including stock replenishment and storage compliance Provide exceptional patient care by answering questions and offering medication guidance under pharmacist supervision Verify prescription information and ensure all documentation is complete and correct Maintain detailed records of medication dispensing and patient interactions Follow all safety protocols related to medication handling and storage Support administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, and managing patient records Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes

Experience

Previous experience as a pharmacy technician is highly desirable Strong understanding of medical terminology and medication administration processes Experience providing patient care within a healthcare environment Knowledge of pharmacy software systems and inventory management tools is a plus Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to work efficiently under pressure
