Key Responsibilities:
Working closely with the Pharmacy Operations Manager and the broader pharmacy team, responsibilities include:
Warmly greeting patients and confirming the accuracy of all required prescription information prior to filling
Accurate data entry of patient and prescription information
Third-party adjudication when required
Accurate dispensing of prescription medications in accordance with all regulations
Maintaining pharmacy inventory through established control systems
Responding to general OTC inquiries and referring patients to the Pharmacist when appropriate
Handling prescription pick-up and patient interactions at the pharmacy counter
Assisting with pharmacy cashier duties as needed
Preparing compliance packaging
Experience, Skills & Qualifications
Registered Pharmacy Technician in good standing with the Alberta College of Pharmacy (ACP)
Minimum 2 years' experience in a pharmacy setting
Strong commitment to delivering an excellent and friendly patient experience
Highly organized with strong attention to detail
Clear, professional, and compassionate communication skills
Self-motivated and reliable
Comfortable with pharmacy software and data entry
Experience with Kroll / TELUS Health is considered an asset
Legally entitled to work in Canada
Employment is subject to a satisfactory enhanced criminal record check and successful completion of a minimum one paid trial shift
