Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented registered Pharmacy Technician or a candidate with 5 years or more working in a retail pharmacy in Ontario.

Successful candidate must be living within 50kms of job location.

Duties

Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications accurately and efficiently. Maintain patient records and ensure all medication orders are processed correctly. Provide exceptional patient care by answering questions and addressing concerns regarding medications. Utilize medical terminology to communicate effectively with both patients and staff. Ensure compliance with all pharmacy regulations and standards, including medication administration protocols. Participate in inventory management, including ordering, receiving, and stocking medications as needed.

Qualifications

Previous pharmacy technician experience is required Strong knowledge of medical terminology related to pharmaceuticals and patient care. . Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on patient interaction. Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively. Certification as a Pharmacy Technician is a plus but not mandatory for application consideration. Non-certified applicants must have minimum of 5 years experience working retail pharmacy in Ontario

Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 - 40 per week
