OVERVIEW:




We are continuing to grow our team and are currently seeking a Pharmacy Provider Relations Representatives for a temporary (12-month) position to join our Provider Relations team. The representative will be working in a flexible work style arrangement. As a Pharmacy Provider Relations Representative, you will represent Alberta Blue Cross with professionalism and empathy, working alongside pharmacy providers and health professionals to support them. The ability to work nights, weekends, and statutory holidays on a rotation basis is required.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:



Verify claims through our online adjudication system. Clarify benefits, eligibility, prior approval requirements, and plan limits. Troubleshoot and resolve claim issues. Document interactions and bring forward provider feedback. Collaborate with team members and leaders to improve our systems and processes. Support team with internal projects and deliverables.

WHAT YOU WILL HAVE:



Demonstrated passion for service, with a strong desire to solve problems and assist others. Strong verbal communication and active listening skills. Ability to thrive in fast-paced, detail-oriented environments, maintaining accuracy under pressure. Confidence navigating software systems and multitasking between tools. Naturally curious with a strong growth mindset, continuously seeking opportunities to learn and improve. Reliable and accountable, taking full ownership of the information and support provided. Proficient in Microsoft Office, with advanced skills in Excel and Access. Familiarity with pharmacy or medical terminology would be beneficial. Previous contact center or high-volume customer service experience would be considered an asset.

This position will remain open until a suitable candidate is selected.
