Position Overview
Reporting to the Regional Director - Pharmacy, the Pharmacy Site Manager is responsible and accountable for the planning and management of patient-centered pharmaceutical care services designed for their assigned site(s) and administrative responsibilities as assigned. As a member of the Pharmacy Leadership Team, the incumbent ensures that pharmaceutical care services are aligned with strategic priorities and meet high standards of quality and patient safety. The incumbent oversees the day-to-day operations of the site's pharmacy team and leads the pharmacy staff in establishing efficient and effective delivery of pharmacy services. These services will ensure a safe, timely, and cost-effective medication management system that supports patient-centered pharmaceutical care.
The incumbent exercises the appropriate level of initiative and independent judgment in determining work priorities, work methods to be employed and action to be taken on unusual matters. The position functions in a manner that is consistent with the mission, vision and values; and the policies of Southern Health-Sante Sud.

Sous la responsabilite du Directeur regional - Pharmacie, le ou la Gestionnaire de site - Pharmacie est charge de la planification et de la gestion des services de soins pharmaceutiques centres sur le patient concus pour le ou les sites qui lui sont attribues, ainsi que des responsabilites administratives qui lui sont confiees. En tant que membre de l'equipe de direction de la pharmacie, le titulaire veille a ce que les services de soins pharmaceutiques soient conformes aux priorites strategiques et repondent a des normes elevees de qualite et de securite des patients. Le titulaire supervise les operations quotidiennes de l'equipe de la pharmacie du site et dirige le personnel afin d'etablir une prestation efficace et efficiente des services de pharmacie. Ces services garantiront un systeme de gestion des medicaments sur, rapide et rentable qui soutient les soins pharmaceutiques centres sur le patient.
Le ou la titulaire du poste beneficie d'un niveau d'initiative approprie et fait preuve d'un jugement independant pour determiner les priorites de travail, les methodes de travail a utiliser et les mesures a adopter pour traiter les questions inhabituelles. Les fonctions du poste sont exercees d'une maniere conforme a la vision, a la mission, aux valeurs et aux politiques de Southern Health-Sante Sud.
Experience

  • Minimum 5 years of experience working as a pharmacist.
  • Previous hospital experience is desirable.
  • Previous management experience is desirable.
  • Completion of a hospital residency program is desirable.
Experience:
  • Minimum de 5 ans d'experience en tant que pharmacien.

Education (Degree/Diploma/Certificate)
  • Bachelor of Science (Pharmacy) OR Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) from a recognized University.
  • Completion of a Hospital Pharmacy Residency is an asset.
Formation (degre/diplome/certificat):
  • Baccalaureat es sciences (pharmacie) OU doctorat en pharmacie (PharmD) d'une Universite reconnue.

Certification/Licensure/Registration
  • Current practicing membership or eligibility for registration and membership with the College of Pharmacist of Manitoba (CPhM).
  • Membership in the Canadian Society of Hospital Pharmacy (CSHP) is an asset.

  • Proficiency of both official languages is essential (English/French).

  • Good work and attendance record.
