Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily pharmacy operations ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements
- Supervise and support pharmacy staff including technicians and assistants
- Manage inventory, order medications, and ensure accurate dispensing
- Provide patient counseling and manage prescription verification
- Handle narcotic counts and audits every 6 months as per OCP requirements
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare providers to ensure optimal patient care
Qualifications
- Licensed pharmacist in good standing with the Ontario College of Pharmacists (OCP)
- Minimum 2 years of community pharmacy experience
- Strong leadership and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in pharmacy software systems
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $55.00-$65.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 24 per week
Schedule:
Monday to Friday
Weekends as needed
