Job Description

We are seeking a Pharmacy Manager to join us at Peninsula IDA Pharmacy, where a culture of enthusiasm, collaboration, and professionalism creates a welcoming and supportive work environment.

As manager, you will lead an established team of four pharmacists and seven pharmacy assistants, and play a key role in enhancing the health and well?being of the patients we serve. Our commitment to exceptional, patient?centered care has earned us the distinction of being named the 'Best Pharmacy' on the Saanich Peninsula for 2025.

At Peninsula IDA, we place a high value on work-life balance. Our pharmacy closes to the public at 5:30 p.m. on weekdays and 2:00 p.m. on Saturdays. Team members may choose either a four?day or five?day work week and receive five weeks of vacation annually. Additionally, there are no Sunday or statutory holiday shifts.

Duties of the Pharmacy Manager include but are not limited to the following:



Lead, mentor, and develop the pharmacy team while fostering a positive and collaborative work environment. Cultivate strong patient relationships and ensure a consistently patient?centered standard of care. Deliver full?scope pharmacist services, including minor ailment prescribing, adaptations and renewals, immunizations, and medication reviews. Oversee day?to?day pharmacy operations, ensuring efficient workflow, cleanliness, organization, and effective team communication. Manage staff scheduling, workload distribution, and vacation planning to maintain safe and efficient operations. Ensure full regulatory compliance, maintain and update policies and procedures, and lead safety and quality?improvement initiatives. Direct inventory management, including ordering, formulary adherence, cycle counts, billing accuracy, and reconciliation processes. Monitor financial performance and contribute to strategies that support operational growth, audit readiness, and excellence in clinical service delivery.

Requirements:



Full Pharmacist license and in good standing with College of Pharmacists of BC Injection certified

Pay: $65.00-$70.00 per hour
