Job Summary

The Pharmacy Manager plays a critical role in overseeing the daily operations of the pharmacy department within a healthcare setting. This position is responsible for ensuring that all pharmacy services are delivered efficiently and effectively, while maintaining compliance with regulatory standards. The Pharmacy Manager will lead a team of pharmacists and pharmacy technicians, ensuring high-quality patient care and optimal medication management.

Duties

Supervise and manage pharmacy staff, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations. Oversee medication dispensing processes to ensure accuracy and safety in medication administration. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans that include medication therapy management. Maintain compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations regarding pharmacy operations. Monitor inventory levels and manage procurement of pharmaceuticals to ensure availability of medications. Provide guidance on medical terminology and acute care practices to staff and other healthcare providers. Engage in patient education regarding medications, side effects, and proper administration techniques for all patients. Conduct regular audits of pharmacy practices to identify areas for improvement in patient care.

Pay: $55.00-$58.00 per hour
