Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Pharmacy Manager to oversee pharmacy operations within our Pharmacy. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing pharmacy staff, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and delivering exceptional patient care. This leadership role requires a strong background retail Pharmacy. The Pharmacy Manager will play a vital role in coordinating medication therapy, supervising pharmacy services, and supporting Pharmacy staff to optimize patient outcomes. This Position will also come with a $40,000 signing bonus.

Responsibilities

Oversee daily pharmacy operations, including medication dispensing and inventory management Supervise pharmacy staff, including a Licensed Pharmacy Technicians and Pharmacy Assistants ensuring adherence to policies and procedures Collaborate with healthcare providers to develop and implement medication therapy plans Ensure compliance with all federal and Provincial regulations governing pharmacy practice Maintain accurate documentation related to medication administration and patient records Provide leadership in medication safety initiatives and quality assurance. Train and mentor staff on new protocols, medical terminology, and best practices Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to support comprehensive patient care Manage medication procurement processes to ensure availability of essential drugs

Experience

Strong background in patient care services is preferred Demonstrated knowledge of medical terminology and medication administration protocols Prior experience managing pharmacy teams or departments is highly desirable Familiarity with regulatory compliance standards related to pharmacy practice is essential Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with healthcare professionals and patients

Pay: $65.00-$70.00 per hour
