Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Pharmacy Manager to oversee daily pharmacy operations within a healthcare facility. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive knowledge of community pharmacy practices, and a commitment to providing exceptional patient care. This role involves managing pharmacy staff, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations, and supporting clinical services to improve patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

Supervise daily pharmacy operations, ensuring efficient and accurate medication dispensing Lead and mentor pharmacy staff, including pharmacists and technicians, fostering a collaborative team environment Ensure compliance with all regulations governing pharmacy practice Oversee medication inventory management, including ordering, storage, and security of pharmaceuticals Collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize patient care plans involving medication therapy Maintain accurate documentation related to medication administration and patient records Implement policies and procedures to uphold safety standards and quality assurance measures Stay current with developments in pharmacology, hospital protocols, and healthcare regulations to ensure best practices are followed

Requirements

Valid pharmacist license in Ontario Proficiency in Fillware pharmacy system Extensive experience in pharmacy management Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to manage a diverse team effectively Excellent communication skills to coordinate with healthcare providers and patients Commitment to patient-centered care with a focus on safety and accuracy Ability to adapt to fast-paced environments while maintaining attention to detail Prior experience managing pharmacy operations within a hospital or clinical setting is highly desirableThis role offers an opportunity to lead a dedicated team committed to delivering high-quality pharmaceutical services while advancing your career within a dynamic healthcare setting.

Pay: $55.00-$60.00 per hour
