JOB SUMMARY
Under the direct supervision of a licensed Pharmacist or designate, the Pharmacy Clerk works under the guidance of the Pharmacist or designate to support the daily operations of DPP business. The Pharmacy Clerk responsibilities include assisting clients with their inquiries, processing sales, managing inventory, labelling and packaging medications, and ensuring the DPP area is organized. Overall, Pharmacy clerks perform basic administrative and organizational tasks in a pharmaceutical setting.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Follow the operational workflow and assigned tasks.
Assist the Pharmacist in maintaining federal, provincial, and local laws, accrediting body standards, and Policies and Procedures (P&Ps).
Assist the pharmacist or designate in performing physical count of medication and supplies, as needed.
Assist the pharmacist or designate in inventory management.
Assists the Pharmacist or designate in labeling of medications as allowed by law.
Assists the Pharmacist or designate in stocking the products in Warehouse cages
Assists the Pharmacist or designate in packaging
Helps the pharmacist or designate in processing sales.
Prepares sales orders, communicate with clients regarding the orders and work on appropriate documentation relating to sales orders.
Ensures correct product and quantity of products are processed for sale and accurately sent to the designated client and address
Handles client emails in a timely manner.
Completes daily NAV system tasks
Assists in maintaining warehouse cages restocked and organized.
Maintains records including filing and documenting required information on dispensing records.
Helps the pharmacist or designate in placing Orders.
Helps the pharmacist or designate in receiving Orders.
Helps the pharmacist or designate in storing medications and supplies.
Helps the pharmacist or designate in reporting incidents.
Helps the pharmacist or designate in disinfecting/sporicidal Raw material to get it ready for staging "Storage task" prior to sending to Anteroom.
Helps the pharmacist or designate in processing sales.
Coordinates with Logistics for shipping of orders
Maintain Excel sheets and/or other documents up to date to ensure accurate tracking of data and information
Answer telephones, forward calls, take messages and assist customers
Maintains effective communication with the pharmacist or designate
Perform housekeeping of the adjacent areas to the clean room (check, storage, change room & Lab)
Perform stocking/restocking of medication and supplies as per SOPs
Performs data entry to track drug lot numbers as required.
Appropriate assembly of drugs and supplies by matching codes and quantities from the compounding document,
Ensuring compounding product gets matched to the right delivery just prior to shipping
Performs other duties as assigned.

Education
High school Diploma
Experience
Customer Service
Organized and disciplined; strong computer skills
Other Skills and Abilities
Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
Ability to effectively manage inventory and ensuring timely replenishment
This role is physical in nature. Ability to stand, bend, walk, crouch, and sit.
Lifting required of up to 50lbs
The employee may be exposed to toxic or caustic chemicals
The employee is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles
The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate
Vision requirements include close vision, colour vision, night vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
Weekend and evening work may be required
