We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the pharmacy operations by assisting pharmacists in providing exceptional patient care. This position requires a strong understanding of medical terminology and medication administration, along with the ability to work effectively in a hospital environment.
Duties
Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications accurately and efficiently.
Maintain organized pharmacy records and ensure compliance with regulations.
Provide excellent customer service by answering patient inquiries and addressing concerns.
Manage inventory, including ordering, stocking, and checking expiration dates of medications.
Perform administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, and maintaining cleanliness in the pharmacy area.
Requirements
Previous experience as a Pharmacy Technician/Assistant Minimum of 5 years ..
Excellent communication skills to interact with patients and healthcare staff professionally.
Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment while managing multiple tasks effectively.
Commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality and adhering to safety protocols.
