Responsibilities

Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications Provide exceptional patient care by answering questions and addressing concerns Maintain accurate patient records and medication inventories, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements. Utilize aseptic techniques while handling medications to prevent contamination. Support the intake process by gathering necessary information from patients and healthcare providers. Collaborate with healthcare professionals in acute care settings to optimize patient outcomes. Ensure the pharmacy environment is clean, organized, and stocked with necessary supplies.

Requirements

Previous experience as a Pharmacy Assistant or Technician or in a similar role is preferred.

Proficiency with Kroll Software and data entry is required

Familiarity with compounding pharmacy operations and critical care experience is highly desirable. Strong understanding of medical terminology related to medication administration and patient care. Excellent communication skills with a focus on patient service and support. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced hospital or acute care environment. Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
