Job Overview

We are looking for an exceptional

Pharmacy Assistant who has completed the Pharmacy Technician Diploma and is registered to take the PEBC exam

to join our growing team. We are a leading compounding pharmacy group that expanded into a new world class facility in Mississauga.

This position is for a

Pharmacy Assistant

or

Provisional Pharmacy Technician

who will work with the compounding pharmacists, technicians and assistants to produce high quality compounded products. Our facility is fully compliant with the NAPRA guidelines and offers sterile, non-sterile and hazardous compounding. Comprehensive training will be provided in detail for the successful applicant.

Shifts are Mon-Fri, 9AM-5PM (subject to variation)

Duties

Compounding all types non-sterile compounds - Including but not limited to creams, ointments, suspensions, solutions, injections, capsules, etc. Clean workstation between compounding products, including dishwasher Making sure all batched items are well stocked Mill Creams - Process compounds coming into the lab Processing prescriptions and compounds when needed to in Kroll Building patient files when needed

Qualifications

Previous experience in a Lab is an asset

Must complete Pharmacy Technician Diploma

Attention to detail Excellent written and verbal communication skills Organizational abilities, especially in the area of prioritization Willingness to learn within an incredible team atmosphere

Pay: From $19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
