We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Assistant to join our team. As a Pharmacy Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the daily operations of our pharmacy. Your responsibilities will include assisting pharmacists in dispensing medications, managing inventory, and providing excellent customer service to patients. Responsibilities:
- Assist pharmacists in dispensing medications accurately and efficiently
- Prepare prescription orders by counting tablets, labeling bottles, and packaging medications
- Maintain proper storage and security conditions for all medications
- Manage inventory by restocking shelves, monitoring stock levels, and placing orders as needed
- Provide exceptional customer service to patients by answering inquiries and addressing concerns
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure accurate medication administration
- Adhere to all pharmacy policies and procedures, including safety protocols and regulatory guidelines
- Maintain confidentiality of patient information at all times

Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Pharmacy Assistant or related role is preferred
- Knowledge of medical terminology and pharmacy practices is highly desirable
- Familiarity with medication administration procedures is an asset
- Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- High level of professionalism and integrity

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $18.00 per hour
