Summary

We are seeking a Pharmacy Assistant to join our team at CityMed Medical Clinic in White Rock, BC. In this role, you will support our pharmacy operations by assisting with medication dispensing and providing exceptional patient care. Your contributions will be vital in enhancing the health and well-being of our community.

Responsibilities

Assist pharmacists in dispensing medications accurately and efficiently. Provide excellent patient care by answering questions and addressing concerns regarding medications. Maintain accurate records of prescriptions and patient information. Ensure the pharmacy area is clean, organized, and compliant with health regulations. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to support patient treatment plans. Assist in inventory management, including ordering and restocking supplies.

Requirements

Strong understanding of medical terminology and pharmacy practices. Experience in patient care or as a pharmacy technician is preferred. Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with patients and team members. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Familiarity with medication administration processes is an asset.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay: $20.94-$21.76 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
