We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the pharmacy staff in delivering exceptional patient care. This position involves assisting with medication administration, managing inventory, and ensuring compliance with medical terminology and pharmacy protocols. The Pharmacy Assistant will work closely with pharmacists and healthcare professionals to provide efficient service to patients.

Duties

Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications accurately. Proficient knowledge and use of Kroll Software Manage inventory by ordering, receiving, and stocking pharmaceutical supplies. Maintain patient records and ensure all documentation is up to date. Provide excellent customer service by answering questions and addressing concerns related to medications. Support medication administration processes within the hospital setting. Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient care. Uphold confidentiality and adhere to all regulatory compliance standards.

Requirements

Previous experience as a Pharmacy Technician or in a similar role is preferred. Familiarity with medical terminology and pharmacy practices is essential. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are required. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy. Excellent communication skills for interacting with patients and healthcare professionals. A commitment to providing high-quality patient care.
