Key Responsibilities
Assist pharmacists in accurately preparing and dispensing medications
Deliver outstanding customer service by addressing patient questions and concerns
Maintain precise inventory records and support medication stock management
Aid in medication administration under the supervision of licensed pharmacists
Collaborate with healthcare professionals to promote optimal patient outcomes
Ensure the pharmacy is clean, organized, and compliant with health and safety standards
Participate in ongoing training to and pharmacy procedures
Qualifications & Skills
Previous experience as a Pharmacy Assistant or Pharmacy Technician preferred (but not required)
Solid understanding of medication administration and medical terminology strongly valued
Excellent communication skills for effective patient and team interactions
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining exceptional attention to detail
Genuine commitment to compassionate patient care
Must be able to pass applicable background checks or facility-mandated screenings
Technical Assets
Proficiency with WinRx pharmacy software considered an asset
Experience with PacMed machine or similar packaging machines highly desirable
Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite is a plus
