D&M Pharmacy and Travel Clinic is an independent, patient-focused retail pharmacy providing comprehensive prescription services and specialized travel health support. We are looking for a motivated
Pharmacy Assistant or Pharmacy Technician
to join our growing SE Calgary team.Responsibilities
Greet and assist patients in person and by phone; respond to inquiries and direct questions to the pharmacist as needed. Process prescriptions accurately using Kroll pharmacy software (asset). Prepare, package and dispense medications according to prescriptions. Maintain pharmacy inventory: stock checks, placing orders, removing expired products. Handle third-party billing issues and resolve insurance rejections. Complete administrative tasks such as record-keeping, data entry, and workflow support. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment in accordance with pharmacy standards and procedures.
Requirement
Pharmacy Assistant/Technician certification from a recognized program. Minimum
1 year pharmacy experience
(retail preferred). Strong communication and customer service skills. Experience with Kroll is an asset. Ability to work in a Medium-paced community pharmacy environment.Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00-$30.00 per hour
