Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Assistant to join our healthcare team. In this role, you will support pharmacists in providing exceptional patient care by assisting with medication preparation and administration, managing inventory, and ensuring compliance with health regulations. Your contributions will play a vital role in enhancing the overall patient experience within our facility.

Duties

Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications accurately and efficiently. Manage inventory by monitoring stock levels, placing orders, and organizing pharmaceutical supplies. Provide excellent patient care by answering questions, addressing concerns, and ensuring a positive experience for all patients. Utilize medical terminology effectively to communicate with healthcare professionals and patients regarding medications. Support medication administration processes under the supervision of licensed pharmacists. Maintain a clean and organized work environment in compliance with health regulations. Document medication orders and patient interactions accurately in the pharmacy system.

Qualifications

Previous experience as a Pharmacy Technician or in a hospital setting is preferred. Strong understanding of medical terminology related to pharmaceuticals. Experience in patient care, demonstrating excellent interpersonal skills. Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment. Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently. Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and adhering to ethical standards in healthcare practices.
