Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will support pharmacists in providing exceptional patient care and ensuring the efficient operation of the pharmacy. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of medical terminology and have experience in a hospital or pharmacy setting. Your contributions will be vital in helping patients receive their medications accurately and promptly.

Duties

Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications to patients. Maintain accurate records of medication administration and patient profiles. Provide excellent customer service by addressing patient inquiries and concerns. Manage inventory by restocking medications and supplies as needed and Ensure compliance with pharmacy regulations and safety protocols. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to support patient care initiatives. Perform administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and managing prescriptions. Clean and organize the pharmacy to ensure a safe and sanitary environment. Manage over-the-counter (OTC) medications, including stocking, labeling, and expiry checks.

Qualifications

Previous experience in Pharmacy with Kroll software experience Familiarity with medical terminology and medication administration processes. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy. A commitment to providing high-quality patient care.
